THE STORY
Hi, my name is Dan and I started Prima Equine on the 23rd of March 2019.
At the time I had been working as a groom just outside of Glasgow for nearly 3 years when I found myself glued to the sofa with a broken leg (horse accident of course).
Having watched every film I could and read every book I could, I finally decided to take the plunge and start my own business.
Why?
Because up until this point I’d had some terrible experiences with some retailers and saddle fitters and wanted to make a positive difference.
Having happy customers and providing a second to none service is what I set out to achieve.
There is no greater feeling than helping someone and making a positive impact on them.
That’s why I then became a fully trained and qualified saddle fitter for Equipe & Amerigo.
I love to take the time to understand what troubles a horse and rider are having and being able to help them with some saddle alterations and other advice.
Fast-forwarding to January 3rd the website was finally launched after many many months of laptop time.
Along the way, I have received an incredible amount of support from my friends, family, and suppliers.
Without them and all of Prima Equine’s fantastic customers, I wouldn’t be where I am today.
